1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using examPattern (the "Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform.
  • If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.

3. Account Registration & Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You may not share your account or allow others to use your login credentials.
  • examPattern reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Permitted Use

You may use examPattern solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes, including:

  • Taking and reviewing mock tests.
  • Analysing your performance through result reports.
  • Downloading your own result PDFs.

Administrators and educators granted appropriate roles may additionally create, publish, and manage test series and questions on the Platform.

5. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  • Cheat or impersonate — take a test on behalf of another user, use automated bots or scripts to answer questions, or manipulate test timers.
  • Reverse-engineer — decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the Platform's source code or question bank.
  • Scrape content — systematically download, reproduce, or redistribute test questions, answer options, or solutions.
  • Abuse the infrastructure — conduct denial-of-service attacks, attempt SQL injection, XSS, or any other security exploit.
  • Upload harmful content — submit malware, illegal content, or content that violates the rights of others in answer images or text responses.
  • Circumvent access controls — access areas of the Platform you have not been granted permission to use, including other users' results or draft content.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including test questions, answer options, solutions, graphics, software, and branding — is the property of examPattern or its content licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property law.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use Platform content solely for your personal educational use. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, or create derivative works from Platform content without our prior written consent.

Any content you submit (e.g., answer images) remains your property. By submitting it, you grant examPattern a limited licence to process and store it for evaluation and result-generation purposes.

7. Test Integrity & Fair Use

  • Tests must be taken honestly and individually unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Sharing specific test questions or answer keys externally during or after an active test window is prohibited.
  • examPattern may analyse attempt patterns to detect and investigate suspected cheating. Confirmed violations may result in score invalidation and account suspension.

8. Payments & Subscriptions

Some test series may require a paid subscription. Where applicable:

  • All fees are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your card details.
  • Refunds are provided only if a paid test series is inaccessible due to a platform error on our side. Change-of-mind refunds are not available once content has been accessed.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be free from scoring inaccuracies. examPattern's content is intended for practice purposes only and does not guarantee success in any official examination.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, examPattern shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Platform, including loss of data, loss of marks, or missed examination opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without prior notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any concerns informally before initiating legal proceedings.
